Stupid Paladin! When we left off last time we were stuck in an endless dungeon. Well, we got our act together at the start of this session (Thanks to Ozzy the GM) and quickly found a way out.

Of course, it involved climbing/levitating/teleporting/fighting our way up to a very high hole in the ceiling. Once we got up, we found more of the dungeon waiting for us, as well as some ogres. And then some were-rats.

We did finally make it out to the surface (many days travel from where we entered the dungeon), but then we had to go right back down to slay an “unspeakable evil”. Damn Paladin NPC!

Many battles ensued, but the session ended before we got to the source of the evil. Along the way I gathered many memorable quotes. It was hard to narrow those down to just five. But here they are:

5) “As long as the guy in charge doesn’t have seven fingers, I’m good.” - Christine
But eight is fine!

4) “How could you have a sword that doesn’t teleport” - Paco
Paco believes all beings that can’t teleport are beneath him.

3) “I was trying to find a more awesomer way out of it than actually defending myself.” - Nelson
The problem is that Nelson isn’t good at defending himself. He’s not good at being awesome either.

2) “When we are done here, who is up for stealing a princess and making it look like another country did it?” - Paco
The sad thing is that this would probably be something our party would do.

1) “All of a sudden they are going to be intelligent weapons, and they are going to be pissed off because I didn’t give them crackers.” - Nelson
Someone in his previous party had a bad experience with crackers, a parrot familiar, and a GM named Frank. I pity all those that were involved.

I know you are dying to find out what this unspeakable evil might be. I am as well. That will have to wait until next time!
