If I’m not mistaken, I think the Wachowski brothers worked on “V for Vendetta”, which was release after the Matrix sequels.

Personally, I did not see “Speedracer” yet. I got a few negative reviews from others, so I was not interested. Though, there was one fellow who did rave about. Anyway, after reading your thoughts, I may give it a try when it comes out on DVD. I think its too late to catch it in the theaters. Fortunately, my father-in-law has a real nice A/V setup that, in some aspects, surpass any theater out there.

Cartoon network modified this story into a 2 hour movie. Instead of batman becoming a vampire, he is faced with the realization that he is the modern age “dracula” every fears in the night and questions whether or not the whole instill order through fear thing is the right approach.
