No offense to my co-director of Even in Death, but after that fiasco I just wanted to make film by myself. I didn’t want to have to worry about another director, the actors, the locations, the schedule, etc. So I came up with the idea of filming a stylized chess match. The two sides (both played by me), would symbolize the struggle of good against evil.
I hooked the camera directly into the computer and filmed the movie entirely in my bedroom. No one else was involved, and I was able to go at my own pace. The result, I think, is quirky, flashy, and fun. For the soundtrack, I enlisted the help of Stephen Babitsky, and with my guidance he produced a positively unique audio track. I believe this adds a whole new level to the film.

My favorite film to date. I love the colors, I love the way it looks, I love the story… This just makes you want to watch it because you need to see what happens at the end. And you don’t need to be a chess person at all to like or understand this film. A great film.
