My first film! I had been experimenting with editing and such by using my webcam to film crazy things around the house. When I felt I was ready to make a real film I made LCD borrow a camera from his college (Yes! He went to college!). Using a script I had written for my good friend Dorian Franklyn-Philips, we set to work.
The story involves a guy trying to get ready for his date before the girl arrives, but things just keep going from bad to worse. Its a comedy of errors. Just like the production!
Filming was crazy. My friends and I formed a ragtag production team. We didn’t know what we were doing. I just knew what I wanted to film to be like at the end, but I only had a vague idea how to get it that way. The first day the camera jammed and all my footage was lost. I was very very close to calling people up that night and canceling the film. It just wasn’t worth it. But something in me made me continue and the next day went better, and the third day went better than that.
My good friend and partner on that film was Yuichi Hishiyama. He let us use his house and he worked tirelessly as the co-producer. Without him, I would not have gotten it done. Luckily, he was also there filming behind the scene footage. All four hours of it is available on the DVD.

I absolutely love. This was the first film I watched by Pat. We were working at B and N one morning and he gave me this film. I went home and watched it and was completly blown away. I was not expecting it to be good AT ALL. It made me laugh, and I thought the script was fantastic! Not to mention the greatest actor and person in the world is the STAR! I wish I was there for this one also…

This was the first film I worked on with Patrick, and I had the best time with it… it was a lot of fun and it came out awesome. This was also one of numerous films I got cut from, making my name to Cutting Room Holovinsky. A Grand time though, and I recommend watching this one…
